Wrong tyres. Grass/mud combination is probably one of the hardest surfaces to get grip on (even with mud terrain tyres). Just as bad as ice.... Momentum is the key Thumbs Up

I think this illustrates the only real problem with electronic traction control versus manual diff-locks; if all four wheels lose traction and spin at roughly the same rate, the ECU doesn't know that the car has lost grip. ETC only works when 1,2 or 3 wheels have lost traction.

Poor old Censored though, bet he wished he had full privacy glass! Rules are made for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men.

The same thing happened to me when I'd had my FFR about 2 days, just got bogged down in really claggy mud on road tyres, had to call my dad out in his FF to pull me out! Discovery 4 HSE
