Another new owner (well almost)

Hello all. New to the site although did use it lots for research before taking the plunge so wanted to thank you all for that. Have dealt and part exed our 2012 RRS for a 2012 RR Westminster. Picking it up on Friday morning. Here's a photo from the dealer advert. Very excited.

Congratulations !!
That is an awesome car Smile

Has it got the light leather trim?
I looked at a couple as the way they tended to be optioned over here meant a a high percentage had the ivory trim that was a major factor within my "buying specification" , and I really like that colour .
It's classy , understated , and looks subtlety different in different lighting .
You also got the best wheels landrover ever made ....

Thank you.

It's black leather interior with ivory roof lining. I do like the ivory seats but with two kids under 5 I prefer not to have to see the squashed raisins contrasting with the lighter leather... Confused

This is becoming a very long week until pickup.

Very nice looking car. Not sure if its just the photo but are the wheels grey? They look like a lightish gunmetal which looks smart. Thumbs Up

If they are - not sure they left the factory like that. 405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus

United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover Autobiography TDV6 Carpathian Grey

Now that is an elegant colour, the A/B wheels are great but a right pig to clean at this time of year butt come the summer look superb. I've just shod mine with Pirelli Scorpion Winter tyres they look good see off water logged roads as if driving on a dry surface and bring back the cushioned ride that 19" wheels provide plus they have a mega bead to protect the alloys. Enjoy your switch from the RRS and watch out for camper vans on country roads they usually don't realise the mirrors are on the opposing side of the road and are the same height to take out a L322 mirror and onthe Westminster that will be £192 for the glass thank you sir, at least you can fit the replacement yourself!

Paul Journey started in a LR2B at 16 and has incl. just about every Land Rover, Disco, RRS and Range Rover Vehicle owned or driven, I even worked for the company when it was owned by BAe - It must be a madness!!! because to add to my 4.4 TDV8 Westminister In Baltic Blue I bought a second L322 as a commuter bus, TD6 2004 Vogue in Oslo Blue with cream leather now both gone replaced with what could turn out to be my biggest mistake. Carpathian Grey ivory interior 3.0 tdv6 Autobiog. 2017

Thanks for all the compliments. I'm loving it so far, can't compare it to the Sport for refinement, speed and space.

In the paperwork it says the wheels were new last summer and changed under warranty. Can anyone suggest under what circumstances the alloys would be replaced under warranty?

I've also not got to grips with the auxiliary parking heater yet - just seems to blow cold air for 20 mins!

Depends which wheels it was built with sir... Could have been diamond cut? They don't last much longer than 3 or 4 yrs! Whistle or they could have been porous I suppose!

FBH sounds like it's broken! Not heating! Rolling Eyes

My wheels, also style 11, were replaced due to corrosion under the lacquer, within the three year paintwork warranty. Only Range Rovers since 1988
