Yes, all leather is treated and some sort of protectant on it. That's the point of tanning the leather. Even "baseball glove" leather in cars (and, well, baseball gloves for that matter) are treated. I do think the l405 "base" leather is especially nice, making comparisons to aniline leather harder. Try out the leather in a disco sport and you'll know the difference immediately.

so if my semi aniline leather is starting to show (very small) marks, can it be treated and brought back to "as new" or is it harder because of it's structure and process? 2016 (L405) Autobiography in Black with Ivory - for ULEZ

I've always used Leatherique Rejuvenator oil on my leather (followed by Leatherique prestine clean) and it works a treat!

I too wonder if it will work as well on Semi Aniline leather should the need arise one day 2015 SDV8 Autobiography - Black, Cirrus, 22" Style 707 Wheels
