My New L405

Did a deal on a brand new SDV8 Autobiography today. If all goes well, I should hopefully collect my new car late next week or early the week after.

Here are some pics from the online advert, and some quick snaps from my phone. I'll take better pictures hopefully after I collect.

Some may like the spec, some will not, but I am happy.

This has been a long time coming. Ive wanted a Range Rover for years but its always been put off for one reason or another

PS Big thanks here to everyones who's answered my questions.

Cheers
JKay

Beautiful car ! Let me tell you that you will not regret getting it and you will never get fed up driving it . Every time you get in it it will feel like an occasion . Only problem is you will have a few sleepless nights (due to excitement ) before you get it !

I already feel anxious now and was just asking myself if I did the right thing lol. But everytime I think of the car I am
Happy.

I bargained and got more than £16,000 off RRP on a brand new car

Ah who needs plates anyway Laughing

The reassurance is good. It's helping get rid of any potential buyers remorse as this is also the most I've ever spent on a car but there's nothing else that comes close in my opinion

Thanks Thumbs Up

Im not sure what kind of deals others have struck, but Ive seen a handful of SDV8 AB Demonstrators/used with anywhere from 3,000-17,000 kms (up to 10,500 miles) advertised for $13,000 more than what I paid.

This is a MY15.5 (May 15 Build) so has been sat there a while, and I had a feeling they were eager to sell, so I just went in low and we eventually agreed on a price.

Jkay, that looks magnificent, but then I would say that as I've ordered one in almost the exact same spec! Is that Cirrus interior?

A man with good taste then no doubt Laughing

It is indeed Cirrus Sir. I wasn't sure about it at first over Ivory, but after seeing it in the flesh I really liked it.

It was either a light colour or red (pimento)

LooKing forward to seeing pics of yours Skyman when it arrives

Did you go for Cirrus or Ivory?

Cheers Jkay

Haha nope. Dealer A believe it or not

Buy from dealer A at good price and I can take it to dealer B for all my servicing/warranty needs.

I can't wait till collection ....

I had a quick test drive and didn't hear the dreaded knock you mentioned too

Thanks Jkay. Yep, I saw Cirus on a FFRR at the Canary Wharf Car show in London last year. I have Ivory in my current RR but switching to Cirrus having seen the colour in the flesh.

Unfortunately, I have to wait quite a while for mine to mid-May, I guess I'll have to keep refreshing the pictures of your fine vehicle in the meantime!

Cheers
Simon
