That does surprise me as the insurance company would have to take a huge hit as the car would end up at auction where a repairer would buy it in, replace the failed parts, then put it straight back on the market. To be fair, if my car had other 'major' issues after a 12mph bump (excluding airbags and bent trailing arm) I would be pretty worried about its capabilities. Steve

Got my car back now - just got to wait for the factory to make my Passenger door card. Got the old wheels and have cleaned them up. Here's what they look like...
