Drivers seat and Steering wheel electrics problem.

Hi all, as per title the drivers seat and steering wheel adjustment have packed up, well , sort of. The wheel will come out a 1/4" at a time when I pull the stick as will the seat if I continually dab at it. Passenger seat works fine. From the searches on here I have done the lock to lock reset, (no difference) the footwell lights are working, fuses are sound and I can't see any bare wires shorting out under the seat and no faults come up on my icarsoft diagnostic thingy. Does anyone have anything else thats simple to suggest ? Many thanks in anticipation

Did they both pack up at the same time ?

There were some threads on the steering wheel adjuster - something about a plastic gear cog - try a search

Sorry I can't be of more help
