265/50/20 question

I love the Hankook Ventus s/t rho6 and Toyo Proxes s/t which do not come in a 255/50/20. Has anuone tried 265/50/20's??
They look to be a touch wider. Thx!

I don't know about Hankook but I have Nokian 265/50/20 and these fit with no probs.

England 2014 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

255/265 is the width of the tread in mm

50 is the aspect ratio of the sidewall... in this instance 50% of 255mm or 265mm

20 is the rim size in inches..

So they are 10mm wider and have 5mm more sidewall, 0.65% more so insignificant really .... Pete

Toyo's definitely come in 255 50 20, at least in the UK. I had 4 fitted to mine only recently.

Black Circles have them. 2017 5.0 Autobiography Supercharged

So would a 275/45/20 make more sense? Is this size closer to the 255/50/20??
