They'll probably sell it as a going concern... which I'd like to see anyway as it has a history and personally I like what they do a lot more than the other tat-bolt on merchants.

It is a real shame they have face this - but as Fox says there is a good possibility they could be taken on by another firm because of the reputation they have.

Unfortunately - in past years the performance upgrades they were renowned for became less and less - really only offering body kits, trim and wheels recently - a market where there is other, cheaper firms that produced the same.

I wonder if LR themselves have considered it? Could be an association such as Alpina, AMG, Rallyart, Prodrive, Brabus etc etc?

James Thumbs Up

Not for the 1st time, I am pretty sure that this also happened in the 1980's or 1990's and they rose from the ashe's then...

Maybe explains all the nice cheap take off wheel and tyre deals over the summer from DCC4x4 supplies as they were being offloaded by Overfinch to him IIRC.
Mine came at £625 complete with unused tyres.
Penny drops now, cash strapped sell everything they could for whatever they could get

...twas my first thought, but it's very small market, small enough to see them call in the administrators. Interestingly, Project Kahn have been growing strongly during the same period, which I think is telling.

...but whether its a message about running a business or the decline in good taste, I dont like to think.

I'd have thought that last point was fairly obvious. Project Khan to me means too much money and no taste/sense. Shocked

If Revere or Kahn buys them... well lets just not go there.
