Since I had the same problem recently I thought I'd post the way to get a new locking key.

First count the number of splines on the locking wheel nut. You then have two options:

1. Call your local Land Rover dealer, tell them the number of splines, pay £15 or so and get one the next day
2. Figure out the BMW/MINI equivalent code and get one from eBay at rather less ££.
3. Spend silly money and get a set of all the keys from Laser at £64 (http://www.lasertools.co.uk/product/6168)

BMW dealers will not sell you a key without a VIN.

Some BMW code equivalents (you can guess the rest)

17 splines is code ABC33
18 splines is code ABC34
20 splines is code ABC36
22 splines is code ABC38

Hope this helps someone.

Ian

Guess I forgot to update this. Anyway the package the locking lugnuts come in has a part # that Maguard will reference. You can then go to their website and register the set and order a new key. Was fairly cheap. Maguard makes the OEM LR wheel locks. 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC
