Locking nuts are a complete pain - the only person they ever inconvenience is the legitimate owner - any half decent wheel thief would have a universal key.

I have 22" wheels in the summer so they could entice people to do bad things...but if they see a lock it could deter them. That's worth it enough to own a set...for piece of mind.

As Alastair said above if you can get a Range aRover off the ground you won't struggle to get a wheel off , just ditch the bloody things regardless of which wheels you have on.

They can probably order one from the VIN number - so you maybe able to get a price from them over the phone |

I bought them off ebay...after buying the car. They are OEM LR set. There are about 5 different part numbers on there...trying to find the identifying # to at least search for it. 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC 2008 FFRR (sold) 2008 BMW M5 |

In the UK, locking nut/lug removers are readily available and any wheel thief prowling the streets with a floor jack tall enough for a FFRR would certainly be armed with a set.

Over here a lot of the garages have the different wheel nut keys to hand as it save messing around looking for the cars original at service time.... it might pay you to talk to a specialist.... you never know.... then if you really have to have them get another set, note the number on the key and order a spare to keep in a safe place

I believe I have figured out the part number. It's the one that begins with "VU"..I can find complete sets but not just a key. I just PM'd Dan 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

Before you all get carried away talking about universal tools!!! It would appear most of you have forgotten universal tools DO NOT work on 322 locking wheel nuts!!!

^^ dealer said I'd have to make an appointment...I'm sure they would probably want to charge me. But the fact is I still need a key. Hopefully Dan has some good news for me. 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

The keys aren't expensive if you can figure out which one you need.....

Any potential thief would need to carry a few ton of bricks to put under the car too. |

Alistair. There enlies the problem. Apparently the lug nut has a letter on it but when it's fastening down the wheel you can't see it. The OEM package it came with has none of those key part #s on it 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC
