England 2006 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Buckingham Blue
Heated Seats

Before I take it to the stealers I wondered if anyone on here could offer me some advice/

My MY11 Vogue has developed a fault in the drivers side heated seat, it was working about 2 weeks ago and now it doesnt... Sad.

There are quite a few fuses for the heated seats fuse 29 in the glovebox being the one for the front drivers side, I have checked this (and the others) and all apear to be good.

The rear and the passenger side work OK.

Is there anything simple I can check before taking out a mortgage and having it fixed by the dealer?

Cheers

Mark.

Does it have climate seats (blown heating/cooling) or electric heating only?

Yes. It's climatic, hot and cold.

I have only had the car since November so needless to say I have never tested the cold, but hot did work a few weeks ago.

Thanks.

There are two peltier units per seat, usually the unit gives up and needs replacing... Rolling Eyes

I presume its only the base or the back thats not working? & the lights on the switch stay illuminated?

No. It seems that both the seat and back don't work, hence me thinking it might be a fuse.

I guess further dealer investigation is needed.

Thanks.

Mark.
