Yet more dumbing down of the brand IMO. Sad
And more money for Jag-LR, which is why they do it.

they shouldn't call it a range rover, and at the same time a 'sport' shouldn't be called a RR..a range rover is a FFRR not a sport or evocock or whatever its called.... ... - .- -.

I guess the times have changed... I bet that in the near future the FFRR will have an official name extension too, like Range Rover (insert something here Confused ) 2000 BMW M5, Avus Blue/LeMans Leather Interior
2006 Range Rover Westminster Java Black

Interesting times.

New Freelander varient is (other than some specials yonks ago) the first mass produced LR with only 2wd.
New Evoke will be first Range Rover not to carry the LR badge alledgedly.

One has to wonder what next... Shocked

Not everyone has 20k all the way up to 80k to spend on a car. Some people need to take their heads out of their arses.

Not really.
It'll just supposedly be the more practical cars under the LR brand, while the Range Rover brand is for posh snobs. Wink

England 2003 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zambezi Silver

I guess it makes me frustrated because its been turned in to a brand as opposed to the modle. I bought "the car" because of its pedigree, its something to cherrish and will easily tow my caravan. I've had classic Range Rovers... they technically they weren't "Classics" as that was a modle in its self... but you know what I mean.. pre P38 Rangies.

Am I saddened that all the above has been diluted by using it as a brand ... yes. Next it'll be Range rover pants FFS! (Thats for Censored sake not full fat Censored Question Exclamation Question Confused Laughing ) 2010 Disco XS TDV6, 2009 Freelander 2 GS

Previous Landrover products -1990 110 TDI CSW, 2003 TD6 Vogue - RRC TD Vogue, RRC v8 Fleetline, Disco ES V8 LPG, 101 Ambulance "Morph", 1964 SIIa Auto Powered by Jag 4.2 Lump - "Percy".
