Australia 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Adriatic Blue

That's what I don't understand. The leather seats in my 1995 P38A looked like new when I sold it last December. Admittedly, it only had 260,000km on the clock. Ron B. VK2OTC

Looks like fat ar5e syndrome to me Thumbs Up

That's the surface treatment come off. Basically flaking paint. Not good on a £100k car. It can be fixed with acetone quite easily but if it's underwarranty let the dealer fix it.

The P38 seats were Connolly leather, 322 on Bridge of Weir. Alas Connolly went bust. The P38 seats were the most comfortable I have known. I did think the leather quality a bit better and the absence of perforations probably makes them more resilient too, plus the hardware for the heating/cooling blower might have an adverse effect with edges or surfaces increasing abrasion. Perhaps the scale of production is such that there are just not enough top quality hides available, or maybe, as with rustproofing, this is an area where LR has shaved some cost compared to the P38. Only Range Rovers since 1988
