Full Height Dog Guard

If anyone has a full height metal dog guard, can you post a photo showing how it mounts to the floor, I bought one from ebay this weekend, its in great condition but the buttom fixings are missing.

Cheers

Fitting instructions are on the Land Rover website: http://www.ownerinfo.landrover.com/extfree2viewlrprod/index.jsp

Search for VUB 503890 (note the space)

I've just been into my local LR parts department to find out if they can sell just the bottom mounting brackets, but sadly the brackets are only available with the dog guard.

However my local LR parts department is a combined parts department for Ford, LR, Peugeot, Citroen and more, and the guy who severed me was not overly proficient with the LR parts system.

Can any of you confirm for certain whether the brackets I need can or can’t be bought separately, before I take a trip to B&Q to buy some bits to fabricate something myself?

The brackets can be seen in figure 4 and 5 of the following fitting Instructions PDF

http://www.ownerinfo.landrover.com/extfree...503890.pdf

Thanks,

JustinP

Cant help u with part numbers as I'm @ work - if you download Microcat (there is a nov release on the forum somewhere) you can then check the part number(s) for the fixing kit.

Microcat is installed and working, a great source of information, thanks for the tip Dan.

It looks like my local dealer was correct, as the brackets I need do not have a separate part number, time to dust off my dremel and fabricate some myself.

Please do, that would be a great help Very Happy

If you have time please draw around it to get the shape and the edge profile to get the bend angles.

Many Thanks
