United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Buckingham Blue

Well I've just found the 2 keys for mine where they were supposed to be. I was looking for normal keys before, not great lumps of red plastic, which were in a bag. The swan neck weighs a ton !

I was gonna leave it in to save the bumper if others can't park, but may leave it off now.....

2016 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Corris Grey

HGVDriver - hope this helps

The correct procedure for removing is to turn the key to the unlock position, then pull the screw handle away from the towball and twist in the direction of the arrow (clockwise / upwards) until the screw handle locks in position - you'll see the red tab, at which point the head should just drop out (assuming its not gummed up). It won't come out unless that screw has locked in red so no point tapping it out unless its in that position.

The screw remains locked in that position until you re-insert at which point it will automatically lock in the green position. Its a visual safety note - if you see the red tab its not in position, if you see the green tab its locked in place.

Just to add to Nick's write up above... When fitting you need to lock the bar and remove the key! If the key WONT lock/release, the bar is NOT installed correctly and is at risk of coming off whilst using!!! Shocked
