Really Stupid Question but............

Really stupid question but what the cylinder layout on the 4.2sc?

Is it looking from the front left front number 1 and right front number 5?

I have an issue with number 8 and need to locate it quick.

Thanks

Cylinder 1 is usually nearest the radiator.

So it would follow that cylinder 8 is the one nearest the bulkhead.

Does not matter if cylinder 1 starts on bank 1 or bank 2, the same rule applies.

Thanks guys appears to be correct from what Stan has found. 1 is front left and 5 front right.

Managed to clean my gas injector on number 8 and all good now so thanks guys you have helped cure my reduced engine performance issue.
