2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Corris Grey

I may be over thinking this but really do not understand insurance companies, I have spoken to all the companies suggested on here: my circumstances - 41yrs old, 12+ yrs no claims, 12k a year - to include wife , similar stats to me. All quotes received were between £1400-£2200. I then went back to my current insurer with multi car package (hers is an ML350, less than yr old) and explained it would have incontrol secure but no garage - they went to the underwriters (?) and came back with a premium of £1050 for both cars (only £30 extra on current premium) !!! I have no idea what to think - two cars for less than the price anyone else will do 1... Makes me wonder if the Aviva policy is any good or what is going on with the others!!! All very confusing....

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

I had the same thing with Aviva - managed to do 2 cars for less than the next best wanted for just the FFRR Thumbs Up

The next best was someone I'd never heard of - but Aviva are a decent 'brand'

Apparently each insurer prices based on their claims history - so maybe they just got lucky with L405's last year.....

I guess you have tried the comparison engine of MoneySupermarket? The best deal I got on that site was with Hastings Direct at £617 (37yr old, 8yrs NCB, 1 fault accident,) Postcode makes a huge difference usually on insurance costs (see below)

FYI - I went with A-Plan in the end as it had the best product including 1yr GAP insurance. 37yrs old, no points, no accidents with 7yrs no claims was £680.
