Suspension

If, I wanted to lift the rear suspension by a couple of inches when I pull my tintent, how would I go about it? Have gap tool!

go into eas and then "height" and scroll to "rear axle". hit enter and then use the up and down arrow keys to lift or drop rear. Declan

Is it not levelling itself off when you hitch up ??

Shouldn't be towing with the 'van nose up....? Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

Yes it does level itself!
When the caravan was attached to the D2, it sat dead level, but I feel that the nose is pointing lower with the FF!

Wouldn't tow with the nose up.

I'd agree when first attached it sits down, mine goes around a mile and settles itself off. I'm towing 1800kg with around 110kg on the nose if it helps. Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

Just beware of insurance companies small print sir... Most won’t allow modifications to suspension heights! Rolling Eyes

Mine sits ever so slightly nose down on the ff, it's kinda how it should be.

It's only slight but seems to settle itself, here's a pic of the van on the back of the old car, the back of the car looks low but the van seems to be sitting about right imho.

Same van on the new car, sits ok too.

I would just let the car sort itself out. Have you got the Westfalia tow bar? Could the bar be at the wrong height. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ

With that in mind, why are people saying it should be nose down when factory is nose up. Question Question Question Declan
