37mpg also available in the L322 V8, but probably at a slightly reduced average speed due to the town hall aerodynamics Embarassed
Depends very much on the type of journey you do...and the way you drive!

37/38 is definitely possible on long distance runs..... Especially at the sleep inducing slow speeds we are forced to drive here in Aus.... (75mph will only ever be a dream a dream)

I get 38 on a long highway run and averaged a true 23 on my last full

Yep -as per Jkay - it's possible but is on longer runs as per the example I gave, not necessarily going slow ,as I say, assume it's the 8 gears and low revs, even cruising above 70+mph, that help achieve it. Steve

I don't think I've ever got more than 650 Shocked

I'm going to Bordeaux in a couple of weeks, so I might set myself a challenge - other than the usual how fast can I get there challenge Whistle
