The G4 style ones are noisy, there was a spoiler available to help a bit but they don't make them anymore and they are very rare.. Verydisco on here was going to get some re made but there weren't enough takers...

Any roof crate with crossbars will be noisy, this is noticed even more in the comfort of an FF because they are so quiet to start with..

If the noise will worry you then best to get roof rails with removable crossbars.... Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Pete

I have the sport bars on mine, and they are reasonably quiet, and don't need the rail but get noisy when you attach something to them.

I suppose it depends on what you need the rack to do. if you need a full expedition rack then i suspect most will be noisy. I have LR bars on my disco too and even with nothing on then you can tell that they are there with a slight whistle noise the same as the FF, but they are about as quiet as you will get.

The expedition rack are cool but there is so much metal work in them that there will be no way around a whistling noise to some extent. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Stew, how noisy is the D3 roof rack? I only ask as I’ve managed to find one and am contemplating fitting it to the wife’s ride... Thumbs Up

My disco rack is ok for noise , it's the spot lights and snorkel that make it noisy Thumbs Up

More induction noise than wind noise! Quite disconcerting with the window slightly cranked... Hers is a manual though Very Happy
