So my wheels that are on my car are being refurbed today...

To the untrained eye they looked fine no scuffs or scratches.
But who ever had refurbed before had apparently coped out and used the easy option with an acid based produvt, thus causing streaking and milky appearance of the alloy.

Most of you wont know yet but im a perfectionist when it comes to alloys.

I love those 7 spoke Vogue alloys. Nice and easy to clean I found. 

I hope there going to look great when done !!! can you see the milky appearance though ?

A common problem is these supermarket car wash guys who use acid to clean the alloys which causes the milky look you have here. I would be tempted to try and polish it out before going to the hassle of refurbishing them.

If you must use a wheel cleaner make sure it's non acidic, I use Anchem Red Mist Wheel Cleaner followed by a liberal coating of
Anchem Billberry Rim Wax, the smell is unbelievable

Agreed - a liberal coat of wax is a must. Especially with all the salt they put on the roads, this eats away at the surface of the wheels.

Yea can see the milky finish.

Its moisture in\under the laquer, possibly sprayed in unheated room, will probably need removing and doing again.
