I'm struggling to get the phone to work in my range rover, i have a non touch screen head unit which has the button for the phone and the control on the steering wheel,I have scanned for bluetooth but get nothing.
Any help would be great.

Too old for bluetooth.

On my old one I had a separate Parrot kit installed

IIRC there was an (expensive) option for a phone to be fitted into the arm rest - an old Siemens house brick of a thing

kind of thought that it wouldn't work at all to be honest, i don't have the telephone option on the head unit either, might just save my pennies and upgrade to an android head unit, at least that will give me a decent sat nav too

It's a GSM (2G) phone. I bought a cheap full size SIM and inserted that into the carrier below the phone. On my iPhone, I set up two favourites, one to forward the iPhone to the carphone, the other to cancel forwarding.

When I hop into the Rangie, I forward my phone.

Unfortunately, the 2G network will be closing in Oz at the end of the year. Ron B. VK2OTC
