mp3 burning

morning, does anyone know the criteria for burning mp3's onto a cd disc...can i just fill the cd up or do i have to put the mp3's into folders.. ... - .- -.

It depends on what the CD player can support.
I found some can look into folders and some can't.

For my 2006 FFRR I just made an audio disk with about 18 songs on it. X6 for the changer and it's enough music.

Like fox say's, it will be dependant on the device, what format it can read.

Cant you hook up a MP3 player into the system in the rangie... ???

Yes, you can. Reads iPods and USB.
That's what my 2008 has.

there's no input for an aux rob, but i've just put 2 mp3 tracks onto a cdr and that plays ok, its just knowing how many tracks mine will take .. ... - .- -.

Stan, it should say how many you can put on there in your burning software... Free space etc...

i can fill the whole disc up ,no problem there , its whether the RR player will read all of them..i read somewhere that theres a limit on the amount of tracks the RR player will read, could be bull though.. ... - .- -.

It will only read one folder deep on Mine (MY2006 with touch screen)

MP3CD
---HitsCD1
---HitsCD2
---HitsCD3

It won't read:

MP3CD
---HITS
-----CD1
-----CD2
-----CD3

If that Makes sense Very Happy
