Not my claim - but certainly interesting and he seems to have it working for 300 Euros. Possible bargain for you oil burners.

Do you know if the RR Td6 FBH is the same as (or similar to) the D3 one?

The unit itself will be the same (if not, very very similar)

Thanks for posting that, Dan.

I've PM'd the op on rr.net, roverron, to see about more info.

As I posted before, I've tried the receiver (known good) which did nothing to my FBH (known to work otherwise), bridged the + and feed terminals at the receiver connector which did nothing (tried gnd and feed too), and then did more research and found info stating that the pre-heat function via the receiver only works if the pre-heat function in general has been 'activated' via the diagnostic sw.

Anybody who can provide more info - please do!

My FBH isn't working Big Cry

It tries to fire up but doesn't, just waiting for the warranty paperwork to come through now so I can get it booked in...

sorry for hijacking the thread

edit: my sausage fingers and lack of concentration made my post almost unreadable...

hows that??? Wink

every morning my vehicle is toasty warm inside, windows de-iced and de-steamed, plus with the preheater I have never had doors or latches frozen solid. You don't get that with most Petrol vehicles.

Even Dan's Autobiog has one fitted so they must be good and Webasto have been selling them for decades.

IMHO its the best accessory on the FFRR - if it also preheats the engine then thats great...

Only Supercharged came with Black Badges as standard. All else was Green Smile

Only the supercharged Range Rovers came from the factory with the black badges. Normally aspirated petrol and TD's got a standard green badge. Every Land Rover badge in an SC is black as well as the ones on the outside.... Land Rover Addict

hum, strange i'm sure the interior one (steering wheel) is black as well. I will ask the question - i do not wish to incur the wrath of the members of this forum.

Now to the thread, I spoke at length to Roverron last december and then approached his garage, fairly near to me, who up loaded the software for him. IIRC they pretty much refused to do it for me!, saying the man who did it is no longer with them. I think he bought the extra bits from webasto.
I have approached several dealers here to 'buy and get the kit fitted' - as advertised by LR - It appears i am missing the "timed climate" option on the touch screen, the reciever and remote. The kit offered shows receiver, remote and software. All this to no avail - so slight confused.
If i knew what i was looking in the rear-right then i would possibly go down the webasto route without the touch screen option.
Thank you
