You'll get better braking and more change from JE in Coventry. Very similar calipers but none of the silly ceramic stuff.

Depends if you're doing it for cosmetic reasons or performance reasons really. If it's cosmetic then have your calipers done by these blokes. LINKY

They might even do custom colours to match nail polish / handbags / lippy etc Whistle Whistle

The Brembo's on the TDV8 are more than sufficient. Go to a local paint shop and ask them for a quote to professionally clean and then paint the callipers using heat resistant Red paint.

Total Cost about £250 probably and they will look and perform great. Thumbs Up

Thanks I think i have decided not to go with the 6.5k upgrade but to go with buying the new brembo calipers and have them fitted after xmas!.

I am also test driving the new 4.4 TDV8 autobiog on saturday so may be looking to do a trade in deal

MZplcg: I have Red handbag and red shoes. Hence the need for red brembos !

I have got some spare change down the back of the sofa if you want to start talking about your TDV8 coming to Fife. Might even throw in some new red Dior sunnies to match your shoes, now there's an offer you simply cannot refuse!

Also, don't know if it's definitely true or of any use but I understood that opening a door prior to jacking will stop the suspension playing silly beggars.

HTH.

I've heard this but I never have any problems keeping the doors closed and jacking up the vehicle

The actual configuration is in the handbook. Low range needs to be selected. DO NOT jack it with the keys in or near the ignition, it WILL try and self level! Land Rover Addict
