Can 19 or 18 inch fit L322 4.2 supercharged ?

Hi, i've read many times those don't fit.

I want to install some mud tires in order to go a little further offload.

Those wheel sizes makes a wider offer of tires.

I'm ready to cut the disk protection a little bit to make it fit if really necessary.

I believe 19" are the smallest rim size on a 4.2SC Regards

apparently the aftermarket compomotives in 18" will clear brembos (4 pots) with spacers ? but 19" minimum on genuine lr wheels as far as i know

But even then, apparently some later 19" wheels won't clear brembos Rolling Eyes

I understood the 4.2SC has similar front brembos to 3.6 tdv8. 18" Compomotives fit the 3.6.

However, you should be able to get a reasonably muddy in 265/50/20. ______________________________

The alloys on my Discovery are RR L322 19" from 2010 MY Vogues and they do fit over the 4.2 Brembos. That's what they were on beforehand.

The off set of those wheels is interesting. They sit out quite a long way. I noticed the Compomotives sit out quite a long way compared to the original 19" RRV wheels.

Evo I would ring Barry at Compomotive. He will be able to give you an answer. ______________________________

I have the compomotive wheels on mine. The Compomotive PD1881 18" alloys will fit over 4pot brembo calipers. You have to cut off/remove some metal from some weights that are fitted to the calipers. This in no way affects the working of the calipers. You are only changing something which is bolted to the calipers and not the calipers itself.

Whilst I have 20"alloys for the summer I far prefer the 18" wheels V8 or else ...

but these are on a Discovery not a Range Rover and the car is fitted with Spacers, so its not possible to compare. Discovery 4 HSE
