20inch stormers

hi guys - i chopped in the 19in 7 spokes for some 20in stormers - for some reason it look really jacked up even when it is lowered all the way... is there a way to calibrate the suspension to the wheels?

The stormers we're only OE on the RRS. The tyre sizes were different..... Could be that....

You can recalibrate the suspension, but I don't think you would normally have to do it....

What are the tyre sizes? 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

The overall height of those tyres is less than the ones you took off, ie less diameter, so they will look slightly more "lost" in the arches. The wheels are half an inch wider though, so should give it a wider stance....

At 275 40, the sidewall is 40% of 275mm.... Which is less than 55% of 255mm on the 19's.... Even after the 1 inch bigger wheel....

There are calculators available online to tell you what's the nearest to original, if you are at 275 width.

I understand 255 is a bit narrow for the lip on the new alloy as its half an inch wider.

Others may disagree and plenty on here have stayed as you are.... And can offer real world experiences.... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

I bought some RRS sized 20's and bought some 275 50 20 tyres, they are wide, and suitably rated, and to me, give a much better fat fit. They don't look right on the original 8.5 inch rims though. ( I tried one) So the RRS 9 inch is good. The look, is good, but is on the limits of wheel arch protrusion. No rubbing issues though. And speedo reads accurate. Drivability is good. I have seen those RRS small sidewalls, and they do look wrong.
Suspension, is all standard.
I had always thought the original 255's looked almost too thin, and lost under the arches, if compared to a typical car.
I will look for a couple of pics I took.

Mine currently has 275 45 20 tyres on RRS wheels( the wheels and tyres are listed in the for sale section) while i get my originals refurbed. These give the same rolling radius as the original size 255 50 20s (or as near as possible). The 275 40 20 is the size fitted to the sport Thumbs Up

I had 275 40 Vreds on my stormers but had to change them eventually because of the harsh ride. I've now got 275 45
General grabber GT's. The 45's have given me a softer ride and look OK in the wheel arches.

 Travelling around in circles again.
