First 4.4 I've heard of with the split hose issue - its very common on the 3.6's

Got to say I was surprised as I'd heard the 4.4 was reliable in comparison to the 3.6...... Just pleased I'm up and running again to be honest. Especially as I'm about to head off on the Lands End to John O'Groats LandRover Charity Run 2016. Thumbs Up

not particularly heard of the hoses going, but CTC did mention that the plastic manifold has been amended as the originals were liable to split. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

My 2011 TDV8 just went in for a split intake manifold. Synptoms were restricted performance and DPF full. LR Cust Relations paid for the repair as it was a known fault
