suspension fault, please help!

Hi everyone,

After coming back from holiday, I tried to start the car. However, the warning light is on showing" suspension faults".

After a while, the computer shows "terrain response not working".

As a result of that, I can not raise or lower the air suspension manually using the buttons on the central console.

My car is a 2013 model L405 which unfortunately just passed the manufacture warranty two months ago Sad Sad

Does anyone have similar problem before or any suggestions what the problems might be please?

I have found online from different sources that it is a design fault and LR is aware of the suspension problem or what they call "Struts", therefore, all later models have been fixed, but not on the earlier 2013 models.

If LR is aware of this problem, shouldn't they recall the earlier models and fix them or they just wait until it breaks?

Any suggestions are welcomed.

Thank you
Dave

Your problem is probably as simple as an under performing battery my friend... Charge it by running the car for 20mins or so then switch it off& lock the car for 10mins then re start and all will be well again sir Thumbs Up

hello mate,

Thanks for your reply.

I have driven the car for like 100 miles since I came back and everytime I switched the engine on, the warning light came on. I suspect it was the battery but a suspension problem though

Ahh, in that case it is a logged fault & needs clearing/checking through diagnostics...
