suspension takes about 5 miles to get to nornal ride height

hi,it is not mine ,it is a 2003 td6 the suspension takes miles to get to ride height the light flashes but takes ages,it doesnt seem to want to rise when stationary or takes forever has anybody have any ideas as to what is up,it doesnt sink when left overnight.

worked on mine. There's a great you tube vid how to as well.

The compressor could be at fault but check for leaks from the airbags or elsewhere first. If the leak is tucked up inside the fold of the bag the only symptoms can be it just takes awhile to rise and may not even get into off road height if selected (that's what I had). It can still sit without dropping with a hole in the air bag if it's sealed by the rubber in the fold.
Get it in off road height and check all the air bags, you'll probably hear the leak before you see it but a small leak is easier to spot by spraying soapy water on the bags as you would for a tyre puncture.

the garage that has it sprayed the air bags with soapy water and no leaks this morning he drove to the garage about 3 miles still not up to height ,lifted the boot up and the compresser was not working.

compressor only works for so long then shuts of to cool down like wiser peeps than me have said put in of road my compressor Censored up and new ring did,nt cure so ring is sitting in garage hadto buy new compressor ,buying from scrap yards is short term fix just go for new one Thumbs Up

On mine I had to have a sensor changed at the back - ride height indicator - looked like a potentiometer - not expensive but solved the ride height issues - are you getting any messages ? 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE
