Back in a RR

After a few years going sideways to the nearest petrol station in a v10 M5, I decided I prefer comfort over lunacy and speed. So I picked out a lovely Overfinch 4.4 TDV8 in black and went to the garage cheque book in hand. FAIL. Ended up leaving with a 2012 Porsche Cayenne hybrid. Stunning machine. The love affair lasted 8 months as the call for a rangie was just too strong.

Here she is.














Loving it. My last L322 was a monte carlo TD6 on a 52 plate so this feels like a spaceship compared to that.

I have a question to ask that may sound silly. On a couple of occasions both at motorway speeds I have heard a pump noise from underneath the car. Sounds pretty central to the body. Like buzzzzzzzzzzz buzzz bzz. Best way to describe it. What on earth is this. I have googled and no further forward.

I am in love...

Agree pics are crap. I was too busy driving it. When I get home I will detail her and get the SLR out and get some nice snaps.

The wife will be blushing Charlyfarly - Do DPF's make a noise? Do these L322's have a pump to expel the aircon condensation?

No cameras fitted - can/has anybody retro fitted these?

Well that was short lived. I love the L322 but I was hankering for a L405. My dealer rang me and said that the numbers are not too far away. a few grand in his pocket and I am in a L405. Vogue. Bit basic.. well compared to the SE L322 I am leaving but it drives fantastic. I am in love.... Again!.
