United States 2006 Range Rover HSE 4.4 V8 Buckingham Blue
Under mirror/puddle light

Now trying to perform and LED conversion with the under mirror light. Manual says to insert flat tip screw driver, gently pry out. Actually had difficulty finding enough room to insert even a small flat head. Ended up chipping out a small piece of the lens darn the luck. Temporarily fixed it with some clear scotch tape that is near invisible. Will have to replace someday,

Worst part, I never got the fixture out or the bulb replaced. Any suggestions? What's the trick on these?

I am at work so the picture is NOT my vehicle. My vehicle is a 2006 HSE. Thank you.

Hi I tried led bulbs in my 2006 vogue se , they would not work properly as they are not compatible with the light fade out system. Kept flashing. 2006 vogue se td6 silver. Bailey unicorn 3 Cadiz . Discovery td5 & many other types before.

once screw drive in I think you are meant to push the light along, and then think about going down.

or you could leave the LEDs in the packet

Thanks I'll try that.

I've replaced several so far without any trouble. Even the side blinkers are blinking fine. I was trying to get into the under mirror one to see if it was a 194 like the other interior ones I've replaced. It appears to be in the manual.

I converted the exterior of my son's 1992 XJ Jeep Cherokee completely to LED's and I had to buy a new, no load relay in order to get the signal lights to flash. Fortunately it was like 8 bucks.

Thanks for the help. Hopefully I can get that out without more damage.
