Battery warning light came on randomly, often it would go out, then the gearbox would lock itself in third, parking brake fault, no this no that and all manner of warning lights including the radio cutting out etc. Turned the engine off re start, all ok then repeat but not in the same order and was worse when cold.
One day fine one day like Blackpool lights.
Battery light then stayed on, no noises at all and battery remained charged but the clock was ticking.i thought so....
Put a meter on the battery and 13.5v with no load, eek.

Off to Indy rectifier ok alternator no good, replaced all for £550 plus vat and ...........sorted. Many thanks
