Done something silly...

Going into London for dinner. Drove to my friends and noticed my auto lights hadn't come on so I thought I'd turn them on manually. Always think it's a good idea when the sun is low for extra visibility.

Anyway left my car at his because he drove. Didnt turn the lights back to the auto of off position though. Didn't check the car when I got out so no idea if the lights get left on even after the car is off and locked...my old Audi wouldn't let you do that and turn them off automatically anyway. Does the Rangie do the same?

In London now and parked on his drive front in so bit Censored if it needs jumping when I get back late tonight....

I mean, £80k car, the lights must turn off automatically right??? Big Cry Jordan

So on the later models, there isn't a bong to tell you the lights are left on, when switching off the ignition. ?

Mjd, I know I have an older model, my lights I generally leave on auto, but iirc there is a bong if I leave the lights on, on non auto.

Yea, mine bongs if I turn the ignition off and the lights are on, but in the non auto mode.

In auto mode, they just turn off with the ignition.....so you don't need a bong.

If that makes sense?

Well it would seem that in an 07, if you leave the lights on manual it leave the sidelights on regardless!

Away for 6 hours, when i got back it started up first time Thumbs Up
I have just had a new battery though, so i wouldn't recommend doing it regularly Laughing

On the upside Gordon Ramsay's restaurant Pétrus last night was lovely!

Cheers guys Jordan
