United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Baltic Blue
Added an SC to the collection...

Had a trip to Newcastle today to view a car to replace my P38 after it caught fire.

I've got what I think is a good deal and a car that I'm happy with.

It's a September 2006, 56 plate in Zermatt (I think) Silver with the Jet Interior and black piano wood (anyone got the dark wood and want to swap? Laughing ) with all the RSE, VentureCam etc. Everything seems to work as it should and do what you expect it to when pressing the buttons.

It's had the 2012 facelift conversion done on it, I'm not really fussed on it and could take it or leave it (anyone looking for a kit? Would consider swapping for the right front end for this one). It has however been done to a high standard and they seem to have used all genuine Land Rover parts. The rest of the car is spot on. There's a couple of stone chips on the bonnet and one little chip on the near side wing mirror cover which I'll get done locally once it's home.

The guy who I've bought it from put a brand new set of General Grabber AT tyres on it at the end of last year just in case it snowed. They have a bit of a rumble to them on the road so I'm going to be taking them off and replacing them with standard road tyres. Anyone looking for a set?

The exhaust tips need a good clean as they're a little scruffy but that's the sort of thing I can do when I get it home as I spent a bit of time getting used to it Smile Anyone know anything good to use on them?

Anyway, here's a few pictures I took whilst at the sellers house.

Hopefully the DVLA will process his number plate change quickly so I can go and collect it Smile

Really nice! Thumbs Up

Has the chap used spacers on the wheels? They seem a little more offset than usual.

Exhaust tips. Solvol Autosol and elbow grease. Clean first with APC, dry and then SA.

The sidesteps and flaps aren't my bag as they kill the purity of the lines, but each to their own.

You've done very well. Thumbs Up Si. <This is my name.

Looks lovely - I'd keep the conversion on it, it looks superb although I'd remove the Land Rover oval from the rear and change the tailgate strip to a titanium one to give the full 2011 look Thumbs Up Now: BMW 640d M Sport, Alpine White
Gone: Range Rover 4.4 V8 Vogue, Zambezi Silver, Charcoal Oxford Leather
Also: Mk1 Audi TT 1.8T Quattro, Brilliant Black

Not sure on spacers to be honest. Will have a look when I get it home.

I'm searching for a set of front mud flaps that don't have the side steps cut out in the back of them so that I can take them off as I'm not a fan either tbh.

Will keep an eye out for the later strip.

I'm looking at the pictures now grinning like a kid on Christmas Eve. I just wish I could get it quicker!

The more I look at the conversion, the more it's growing on me to be honest but if I do decide to change it, I'll let you know Alan.

The 2012 conversion looks great thought it was one of mine at first!

Yours is Zermatt the above is Zambezi

The front lights alone are £700+ each!

Take the sidesteps off if looks are important. Great looking car Thumbs Up
