England 2003 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zambezi Silver

I only got stuck in snow once - it was in a mk1 Capri and was just outside my house so doesn't really count. The worst snow I have driven in was back in the 70's (I'm not old enough to have been driving in the big freeze of 1963 but I can remember it) - I think it was the winter of 77-78 or may have been 78-79 and it took 2 hours to travel 1 1/2 miles from one side of town to the other. The best heavy snow was a few years ago when it was that bad only 4x4s were on the roads (I had a Frontera then) so I am looking forward to another big snow fall - just wanted to make sure the FF was in a position to get out there. Interesting re the door seals, never had a door completely refuse to open through freezing.... QUID FACIUM TIBI

I was converted to 4x4 by the Zephyr V6,

I was on the M6 during a cold, slippery, slushy night when the coach I was passing suddenly started to slide into my lane. Flooring it with 4WD simply accelerated out of the way and watched the coach bounce off the central barrier in the rear view mirror.

Always had 4x4 when I could since then

No tips required. You have a FFRR, which pretty much guarantees an Indian Summer all through the British Winter Thumbs Up

Now, if you hadn't bought the thing............ Laughing Laughing
