P2106 and Reduced Engine Performance

Anyone with direction for the below scenario please (did search with no result other that potential water pump and wiring to pump).

Pulled car out of garage and parked in front of said garage (slight increase).

Technician installed tracking device.

Started car to pull back into garage (after installation) and got "Reduced Engine Performance" on dash and error code and "P2106 (Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Limited Power)" on OBD2 scanner.

Off / On did not resolve issue not clearing fault on OBD2 scanner.

Vehicle: 4.2 SC
MY: 2006

Ok disconnected and re-connected battery.
No faults on dash nor OBD2 (pending or historic).

i got a p2105 same description for months now, will rev only yo 2500 rpm. I changed PCM and new throttle body which didnt fix the issues. Waiting on a wire harness. I had the fan's wire caught in the fan and ripped it off so suspect wire shorted somewhere

Thanks jam220 for your feedback. Could well be that the techie cut/short some or one wire (s) he was not meant to Sad as I saw at least 3 cut wires. Will see if it returns. I could however rev mine well beyond 2500 RPM (standing still).

Best of all now the auto-lock does not work anymore either - :shakehead:

Any ideas guys? Will it be us3full to sync the keys again to try and get the auto-lock to work again or is it a trip to the Indie?
