United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Stornoway Grey

Here is my updated table for 2011 options v standard - as best I have been able to put together (with a little help from the forum!)

2012 is most likely different as each MY they played with what was standard v option. I hear they reduced the standard items for 2012MY.

When you're in buying mode you're reading tons of ads that list out hundreds of items that are std like Isofix etc etc. But the dealers just don't know the difference between std and an option. Eg my car has surround cameras AND the 1200w stereo, neither options were advertised. (Naturally, I didn't point those out) So I found the table useful - especially as a 1st timer to get my head around all the gadgets. Then I used it to compare different cars I was considering.

Once you have the VIN you can find out exactly what it has via Topix.

Germany 2012 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Santorini Black

That's pretty helpful, thanks. I read that the Westminster was an edition limited to 300 vehicles worldwide but elsewhere I read it was the new name for the base model in some markets. Is that correct?

I'm currently looking in the German market for a 2012 but the selection is limited compared to the UK and also very spread out across the country.

The 2011 press release states that the vehicle has Brembo brakes but photos I've seen of '11 and '12 models seem to all have Range Rover on the calipers. Are they actually de-badged Brembos or were Brembos an option?

Actually, the press release states "Brembo-based" so maybe they are de-badged. 2012 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 automatic (LHD), Santorini Black

In the UK the WM was a run-out model for the 322, essentially a Vogue with ventilated seats, 20" wheels, dual view screen, Harmon Kardon system and various trim items. The brakes are of the Brembo type but are badged 'Range Rover'. Only Range Rovers since 1988

It's in the 2011 Owners manual. Not mentioned as optional so I believe std on all 2011s. I don't have a 2012 manual to check, may have been charged to option. Also varies by country....

Test drove a '12 model yesterday and realised that the speedo and rev counter have switched positions on the digital display. I'm used to them being the other way around (rev counter on the right, speedo on the left) as in my '08 car. Is there a setting that allows you to swap them around? 2012 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 automatic (LHD), Santorini Black

I test drove an 11MY Autobiography yesterday and it had everything except adaptive cruise control. I thought it was standard on the Autobiography so I was surprised that it was not fitted. At least, I assume it was not fitted because the two additional gap increase/decrease buttons were missing on the steering wheel.

However, the seller (an indie dealer) tried to tell me it was fitted and that the buttons were not necessary because gap control was all handled automatically. This sounded like bs to me, am I right?

I noted the VIN but Topix says "VIN not found" so I've asked the dealer for it again in case I made a typo. 2012 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 automatic (LHD), Santorini Black

The indie is wrong, the buttons allow you to increase or decrease the gap that is leaves to the car in front. Looks like it's not fitted then.

I think the Autobiography is a standard car, with some options from the Autobiography options list chosen, meaning it gets the badge and other AB stuff too. So if the base car was a Vogue with AB options added, it won't have ACC as the Vogue never had ACC. If it was a VSE with AB options, it would have it. Am I right here? Sure the AB have a model they are based on trim wise.....might be wrong...... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8
