Scotland 

You need to remove the vents at each side of the dash to obtain access to the hidden screws holding the top on

Ohhh, but 4 additional screws and 2 plugs and you can walk into the house and set the nav screen up on the kitchen table...

Wouldn't that be fun after all the fun we had pulling dash-top screws? Whistle
