United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Supercharged Vogue SE Auto Zambezi Silver

I get no more than 200 on a full tank. Mpg is normally between 11 and 12. Not thrashing just normal driving. Always 5/10 min trips so car doesnt even get going. Had 18mpg once and that was motorway driving. Wife wants to trade up to a TDV8 now cus of the fuel bills but I aint to fussed. The price of having a SC a suppose. Ya gotta love it Thumbs Up FFRR 4.2 Supercharged

Regarding the diesels, I believe that the reason you cannot fill the tank with 102ltrs when you have an indicated zero in the tank is that there is a "reserve" section of the tank that you cannot pump dry otherwise you would have to re-prime the fuel pump and the entire fuel system if you really did go as low as zero in the tank. I don't know if the 4.4 petrol and the S/C's are the same 2012MY RREvoque Dynamic Lux Plus Auto SD4 Coupe in Fuji White with full ebony interior

On my Td6 you could go to Range = 0 and there was a little bit left.
It took 102 litres which suggests a litre or two that would have been in the filler pipe as the tank was also 102 litres in size. Not something you'd want to do very often.

On my TDV8 it was set with a much higher safety margin. Range = 0 on that meant I could only get about 88 litres in, there was still over 2 gallons in the tank!

They both had the same size tank.

England 2002 Range Rover Td6 Vogue Auto Java Black

iread this post this morning so thought I would give it a go.
My journey is 23 miles on slow- steady twisty roads each way in North Yorkshire and I average about 24-25 mpg. This evening on the way home I touched 30.3 mpg and a final figure pulling in the drive of 29.4 mpg - not bad for a 2 1/2 ton car Wink Oh and half the journey I had air con on and the rest the sunroof open and for good measure 2 x road works thrown in - 45 minutes of driving !

It's long been my ambition, when the company was paying, to spend more than £100 at a single filling. I retired bought a FFRR and achieve that ambition regularly, spending my own money - I think "be careful what you wish for comes to mind" Big Cry Geoff
