Cover over headlight wiper arm question?

Does anyone know if I can replace the little lift up cap that covers the headlight wiper arm nut. I have lost one and you can see the nut holding the arm on.

I am thinking of main dealers but I can see them trying to sell me a whole new assembly like they did with the headlight igniter!!! Shocked Reformed

it is a clip on item and you're probably right that the dealer will sting for a complete assembly..a breakers would be a choice or ebay maybe... ... - .- -.

Which side do you need?

Think you can buy them separately at the dealers.

Thumbs Up

Thanks for that but as scarey said, its the headlight wiper arm cap I need. I have looked on ebay but couldn't see anything. I will try the main stealers 1st, if not I will have to ring the various breakers. Reformed

you might find that a 'nut cap' from a normal wiper arm might do the job or ,is there a cap on the rear wiper that will fit... ... - .- -.

From lookin in the parts catalog it seems the wiper arm is sold as one unit, so they wouldnt be able to sell you just the cap.

Your best best is to get a complete arm off a breakers.

Update: You can't buy the cap on its own, as thought (it is also where the water sprays out), Dealer charges just under £50 for each headlight wiper arm (exc. VAT).

All the breakers I tried say they have nothing but I found a pair on ebay for £30 so not so bad. (When compared to main dealer price each!). Reformed
