Puncture repair

So, 2000 miles in, TPMS warning light came on - after nearly killing myself jacking car up finally got wheel off (b*gger me they are massive) to find a 3 inch screw in middle of tyre.
I took it to local tyre shop and they were able to repair it - question is, is this safe? I will likely leave this wheel as the spare now but if needed could/should it be used as a normal tyre? Something just doesn't sit right with me having a puncture repaired tyre on car this size/heavy?
Thanks

I've had the same nagging discomfort previously, but have run puncure repairs on my L322's without any issues at all.

Yes the wheels are huge - I swapped all 4 of mine a few weeks ago & they are soooo much bigger than our other cars.
