I'm still having problems getting my V8 running as I want, so I've taken some video and put it on youtube to see if any of you guys can come up with any suggestions.

hmmm, no idea myself... Do you have any BMW specialists near you? Personally I wouldnt let a LR tech near the BMW engine if it involves a top end re-build... |

Sounds like something in the top end (suggesting cam etc).

It sounds like it's coming from the drivers side of the engine. The mechanic I would be getting to look at it is an independent who runs the l322 4.4 with lpg as his personal car, so I am quite happy that he knows the engine well. He's also an lpg convertor, and works on vehicles sent to him by the local main dealer (as they won't touch any lpg vehicles).

my ff has developed a slight rattle when you de accelerate but i dont get the rattle like yours or anywhere near as loud.....i was thinking maybe the tensioners |
