I've got more photos online of it and without the chrome vents etc as it's got genuine supercharged ones now. I think I'm going to source a set of 20" alloys for it and repost it. Maybe the 22" wheels are deemed as too big for a lot of people. 19 L405 4.4 AB + Disco3 pick up + 800BHP Rothmans 911

You'll never return your outlay on a modified car unfortunately. We've probably all found that out the hard way....I say I'll learn, each time I buy a car.

I intended keeping my 3.6 for 2 years but I've become quite smitten and whilst "other brands are available" or the obvious 4.4/5.0 trade in, with prices as they are "its worth more to me"....

£10k is not a lot of cash for an awful lot of car - for a buyer....but for a seller who has probably paid twice that in the last 3-4 years it's a little more Big Cry Big Cry Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

i would say that you could put 19's or 20's on mate, you will probably get more cash for your 22's on ebay...will those chrome wing mirrors come off?

They look to me like 5.0 SC standard 22" wheels. I'm not sure they are the best looking wheels that LR have offered so this and the size might put people off. I have a brand new set off my car but not sure how much demand there would be if I tried selling them.
Your idea of changing to standard I believe would make the car more appealing to a wider audience. Thumbs Up

mirror covers off i reckon, and SC vents back on. will tidy up no end in a buyers eye. Sell the 22" and you will recoup a decent amount for them. get a set of 20" v spoke wheels or some style 11s and it will look better. IMHO the v spokes look nice. Thumbs Up

if the covers are LR or even aftermarket then a give them a good pull and they should come off. I had a set on mine and took them off (painted them and stuck them back on) what ever you do dont stick something down the back of them to try and lever them off you will just end up scratching the mirror housing underneath Big Cry There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Just out of interest, what is it likely to cost if I replace turbos prior to them failing? I'm thinking of pre-emptive maintenance here on my 57 plate TDV8 with only 94,000 miles.

From my understanding it's the egr's that are the pre emptive measures.

When they start to fail they overspeed the turbos which cause them to blow. 19 L405 4.4 AB + Disco3 pick up + 800BHP Rothmans 911

Thanks Andy, I left it as is for the viewing and the guy liked it. Amazingly he lives 200 metres away from me and saw it for sale online.
