Usually a whole lot of black smoke out of the exhaust on acceleration

i had a split hose yeaserday!!!

i noticed a slight odd noise, hard to hear tho....then she sudenly went into limp mode and gave me an engine fault message!.............same spot two days apart.

The indy next door to my work read the code, first time they said at was the turbo acctuator.....big money!!

second time it came out as an air flow error, the hose had a 2" rip in it!

had both hoses changed there and then, £109......feels and sounds alot better.

there was no smoke at all and no noticable loss of power either tho!!....it just showed up when i was going up a steep hill at a particular speed, throttle position, rev range etc.....if i booted it (the day inbertween the fault showing) it was fine!!
