Right, so I knew this would happen

Reaching down into the driver's door bin for my cloth and I've bloody scratched the Piano trim on the umbrella pocket with my watch strap.

So, I did take to wearing my watch on the left wrist for a while but the crown was rubbing a sore spot on the back of my hand so I moved it back to the right wrist, just perfect for scratching this trim piece.

Needs a new trim, and probably a left crown watch like a Panerai. LR should be supplying said watch with the car. Or maybe i should buy a left hand drive car. Sod it, I'll move to Germany. Hey Frank, you got a spare room?

Do you think we could get Bono or Geldof interested in this first world problem?

I'm more concerned whether white jeans are compulsory in Frank's place

Sometimes your sailing through life and it takes a post like this to make you realise just how lucky you are. I don't have a watch BUT imagive I did !!!! At a business dinner many years ago my neighbor was wearing a simple black rubber Swatch. He said he could afford better but once you spend more than 50 dollars on a watch it then becomes a piece of jewelry. He also said that the two things that the bad guys in the world look for before robbing you or kidnapping you was your watch and your shoes. His name was Eduardo Michelin and I have always remembered his philosophy when I hear a discussion of fancy watches or when traveling in more exciting parts of the world. Sadly he died fishing which if you could choose may not be a bad option. May not be much compensation for scratched bit of trim but maybe puts discussion into percpective.

Depends. Normally the non-dominant wrist, i.e. left for a right-hander and right for a left-hander. I can wear on either but the crown wears the skin on my hand if it's on the left wrist, hence needing one of these
