2016 and your Range Rover

Well as the year draws to an end, we can happily report a good 2016 in ours (4.4TDV8 L322 2012MY).

Santa last week gifted us a new EAS compressor under warranty which was fitted on the driveway by LR Assist who also replaced key fob batteries and topped up the screen wash as part of an excellent service.

This one hasn't missed a beat
Thumbs Up

I have had suspension problems and after a £1600 service bill it has been sent back to LR as it was not cleaned, rear view camera not plugged back in, EAS still not sorted out properly, rear spoiler rubbing on body work when opening and closing the tailgate and steering wheel not straight still after 4 wheel alignment and steering arms replacement.

Other than that, it's been great Rolling with laughter

cheers Alex

Picked up my fatty in July..its been a project to get her roadworthy ..fitted a new battery and renewed the air compressor, valves and sensor..fitted new exterior lights and interior upgrade to led..Pcv system upgraded along with the thermostats..huge service replacing all filters and oils/fluids and now it's running perfect...also repaired all the interior plastics and only have new seat bases to fit...all in all it's been a fair bit of work which I knew about anyway but I've enjoyed being hands on and the cars amazing

Mine has been fairly well behaved this year.

I have a few niggles, which unless you looked you wouldn't know about

1. Weeping rear shock
2. Squeaking aux belt
3. Leaking union on bottom of dipstick tube
4. Leak round turbo pipe.

The bottom 2 are getting warranty attention in the new year, iirc the fan and drive belt will have to come off to swap the dipstick tube so if poss I will get them to fit me a new drive belt.

The first I will ask about when it goes in, last time they said it wasn't bad enough to get swapped out! Anyway, apart from these minor problems which are getting sorted, and the new warrantied airbag it's been as good as gold. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Picked mine up in Feb (first Fatty; indeed, my first RR for over a decade). So far, it's been fine.

We'll see what the Butcher's Bill is come MOT time in Feb!!!  Regards,

Range Rover bliss in 2016. Drove to Portugal, Spain and France for holiday, nothing gone wrong at all. Only expense was LR servicing. Niggles remain well and truly in 2015! 2005 L322 Vogue Gold gone

My FFRR's been great in 2016. I did replace the front struts before they failed. And I replaced the boots. It's going great. ______________________________
