SMILE!!

Just wondering, bit of a long shot here but i've only owned RR since May, and ive seen loads on the roads but not a single one smiles!!! when i used to own my Nissan Skyline i was in a club that called it the Skyline smile...because we loved owning our cars etc there was the typical raise of the hand to acknowledge the other person you saw, but its seems to me, this is not the case here amongst the FFRR, am i being a dick here? just thought it would be a little acknowledgement seeing as we have a "spotted" group?

Still got my Skyline all be it waiting for me to drop a new engine into it,I think the thing you will find is that Full Fats although nice are no where near as rare as seeing a Skyline hence a lot of people buy and drive these and thats as far as they go where as people on here are more inclined to their hands dirty and appreciate them more L322 2008 vogue

Driving my defender I always wave and get waved at by fellow defender drivers.....so much so my wife and kids think it's sad. Never got a wave in the FF when i had it though.

I greet every FFRR, but there aren't as many here, the French never ever greetback, UK folk does. I just keep on doing it, like I do with British classic cars Thumbs Up

Like Chawks said, a friend of mine with a Defender usually gets a wave from fellow Defender drivers. Maybe we should start a campaign for Full Fat owners Very Happy Very Happy SDV8 AB MY 2019

Used to love this in the Defender. Almost every owner would wave back. Such a nice feeling!

Haven't bothered waving to anyone in the FF, most of them are mums on school runs anyway... Laughing Jordan

Almost every defender owner (farmers excluded) always waves, at billing this weekend my arm was aching!!!

When the first discovery cam out all other owners waved.

But no one in a FFRR waves Big Cry Big Cry may get the odd nod though! 2010 defender utility

Think the Land Rover wave is pretty much dying out with the Series/defender Crying or Very sad I used to get a few in my RRC but only had an odd few in the D2 from other D2 or D1 drivers but never in the FFRR. 2004 RR 4.4 V8 Autobiography

whilst passing, I like to look at the car, and the wheel choice, so I don't look at the driver, maybe he's giving me the wave, or the finger, or the coffee bean shaky hand.

im looking at his shine! Very Happy

unless I see a non standard-coloured one, and I try to look away. Rolling Eyes
