Does the 2011MY FFRRV have self levelling headlights?

I recently had significant repairs carried out to my FFRR which included 2 new headlights. Since then it has passed an MOT but on dip the lights seem to be ever so slightly higher than I remember them being before the repairs, resulting in me being flashed quite often by annoyed motorists at night, especially when driving up hill.

I'm wondering if the repairer may not have correctly/completely connected them up but I'm not sure they have self levelling motors in them. Can anyone please advise? Maybe I just need to adjust them down a bit.
Thanks. 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Baltic Blue MY11

This link would suggest that I do (should) indeed have self levelling headlights.

I get flashed sometimes as the lights are adapative and sometimes don't change from full beam to dipped so I've changed the settings to switch off the adaptive setting.

Not sure about the self levelling aspect but someone on here will know. 2009 Vogue TDV8 Nara Bronze

they should be slef leveling but you still have to manually set the height they start at, if you look behind the lights there is a plastic adjusting lug sticking up with the philips screw head. use that to adjust the datum height. Cheers

drove the RR the first time in the dark tonight and got a few flashes from drivers. Checked the level when got home against the garage door and it was high.
Out with an 6mm (I think) allen key and adjusted them down to just below level.

the adjuster is the one more to the centre of the car on each light. Regards
Mark

Just a note for future reference. All cars with HID headlights must have auto levelling by law. They must also have a cleaning system (washers or wipers or both)

I thought self leveling was applied by the air suspension rendering anything additional on the headlamps superfluous.
That certainly seems to be the cased on the P38s. 2010 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE

The servos on the L322 lamps are much quicker to respond when driving. As the car rides over undulations in the road the servos react to signals supplied from the air suspension. I don't recall the P38 having HID lamps although I could be wrong on that.

I popped into the repairers this morning and they confirmed that the headlamp self leveling control module isn't communicating with the suspension control module and so isn't moving the headlights as it should. So problem identified but needs the LR super computer to correct it. A job for next week then. 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Baltic Blue MY11

Actually, all cars fitted from new with HID headlights must have auto levelling and cleaning to obtain type approval

There are no such rules for after-market HID

Well it turns out that my RRV HID headlights do not have self leveling motors in them at all but rely on the self levelling suspension to comply with the law. Aparently only the adaptive higher spec lights have motors in them for looking round corners.

The adaptives are also meant to adjust their level during hard acceleration and hard braking.
