Thabk you but i bought the unit secondhand ( receiver ) and there a cable from the loom that plugs in but no spare aerial connection. I bought a new one on line so just looking for advice on where it attaches. It has a sicky side so i will only get one shot at it 2015 4.4 AB

The genuine solution involves using the TV antenna in the glass, and a splitter that provides a seperate connection.

If you are retrofitting the heater remote then you wont have that connection. Your aftermarket antenna doesn't have a 'correct' location, so its a case of finding somewhere unobtrusive to nmount it and where you can run the wiring behind panels to keep it hidden.

Mine is right at the top of that window, with the cable under the rear quarter panel. I found a tiny gap behind the 'shelf' that the cable can be wriggled through.
